Top 5 Cozy Mysteries for Beginners

Описание к видео Top 5 Cozy Mysteries for Beginners

If you're new to cozy mysteries or simply interested in finding some new cozy mystery series to read, here are a couple of my absolute favorite, drop everything and read them, cozy mystery series!

For those of you that don't know, a cozy mystery is defined as any mystery that novel that doesn't include explicit gore or graphic material. So, yes it does include a murder (or two), but there are never graphic descriptions of the murder, romantic encounters between characters, or a lot of strong language. It also typically features an amateur sleuth in a small town, rather than a professional detective or police officer in a big city. Agatha Christie is considered the most famous cozy mystery writer of all time :)

Some of these were the initial cozy mystery series that got me into reading cozy mysteries to begin with, while others are newer discoveries that have become instant favorites.

What cozy mystery series would you recommend to someone getting started in the genre?
