Tama Starclassic Maple Sound Test

New Tama Starclassic Maple drumset ... let's record them and do a sound test to share how they sound!

Watch the video for the drum sizes. For recording, I mic'd everything up through a Focusrite Clarett interface and into Logic Pro X.

I didn't do much processing or tweaking - just sent everything to a bus, then added some very light eq and compression. I mostly just moved the faders around a bit to get a somewhat ok balance!

I think these drums sound fabulous! I also might to tweak the tuning of the 10" and 12" toms a bit - not sure yet. Love the bass drum and the floor tom.

Muffling:
- The floor tom has 3 moongels on it, otherwise it will ring for like 10 seconds.
- The snare drum has one moongel on it, just to cut down on the ring a bit.
- And the bass drum has Evans EQ3 drumheads (batter and resonant sides), and has the Evans EQ Pad inside.
- Nothing on the 10" and 12" toms.

Not my most stellar drumming - just pfutzing around to get some drum sounds for the video.
