Release the Kraken's

She wondered why birds weren't nesting in the little house by her patio.

There wasn't much chance for Apis swarms today so we took the long drive. We relocated them late at night In the morning we released them.

I am not sure why I am a little afraid of them. Perhaps it is because of the sounds they make. They squeal and scream! Something like a war cry.

When you spend time around them you find that they communicate with each other quite a bit with vibrations.

The sound level is up on this so you might pick up some of the sounds.

A Queen came out about midway in this video and positioned herself above and to the right of the entrance and would make a distinct sound with her wings repeating it every few seconds.

BTW - Latex gloves don't stop Bumble stings....
