Tiny Paris Apartment With Multifunction Furniture | Micro Apartment 269sqft | Never Too Small

In many of Europe's older cities, small living spaces can be quite common, especially in cities as old and as dense as Paris, France. Over the years, we've appreciated a number of interesting small space renovations and quirky conversions in the City of Lights, ranging from a former doorman's residence, a bathroom-turned-micro-apartment, to an old garage transformed into a home for a family of four. And as anyone who's lived in a small apartment will tell you, a lot of creativity and careful attention to details is needed to maximize the space that's available, and to make all the miscellaneous pieces work together.
In renovating a tiny 269-square-foot studio apartment in an older building dating back to the 1970s, Architects took a measured, subtle approach.
With the request from the customer that there is enough room for a husband and wife and 2 small children to have a place to sleep and have a play and study space with such a small area and the ceiling is not high, the architects were concerned. However, with dedication and experience, the architects made customers satisfied by choosing a multi-functional interior design.
The bedroom of the couple is both a place to receive guests and a dining room with a sofa-bed design, next to it is a kitchen with a rolling door to separate the space when needed, the dining table is designed to be hidden in the wardrobe.
The bedroom of 2 children is both a place to study and play, one bed is designed to be folded, one is designed to be hidden under the steps, when not sleeping they are neatly hidden to create a spacious space for play. The desk is also designed to fold into the wall.
