turning an old cable reel into a footstool - what shall I do with this thing? episode 2

Hi! This is episode two of my series, "what shall I do with this thing?". This is the series where I upcycle a variety of different "things" and try to transform them from trash into something cute and functional for my home.

In this episode I'm turning an old wooden cable reel into a comfy, unique footstool for my living room. I really wanted to show my true creative process in this video so you'll see multiple changes to my design plan along the way and a fair amount of doubt and confusion too. Note: I had some issues with my camera during the making of this video and wasn't able to fix it all in post so annoyingly there are periods where the picture and audio are a bit messy. Hope this doesn't disrupt your viewing pleasure too much.
