Unique Aggressive Look. The Rugged Ridge Spartacus Front Bumper for JK Wranglers is a rugged looking piece that adds significant presence to the front of your Jeep. A satin black powder coat finish is used instead of the traditional textured matte black powder coat, which is a welcome and unique change that will help your Jeep stand out from the crowd. Furthermore, being made of stamped steel as opposed to welded plates, while sacrificing some strength, this design process allows Rugged Ridge to really get creative with the lines and flow of the bumper and pump out a unique product. All told, the Spartacus Front Bumper is a great looking piece that definitely bucks the norm.

User Configurable Utility. Not as strong as a regular plate welded bumper, the Spartacus Front Bumper nonetheless does offer some good off-road utility. Removable bumper ends free up space around the tire when needed and there are provisions to install a winch plate and hoop guard, which can be purchased all together or separately. The Spartacus bumper will also accept the factory Jeep fog light assemblies, or if you want increased light output, you can throw in a couple of LED cube accessory lights instead.

Moderate Install. Requiring a little more work than most bumpers to install, the Spartacus can still be done at home in the driveway with basic hand tools. Depending on how you have set your Spartacus up (with winch plate, accessory lighting etc), you may be required to relocate the factory vacuum pump. Weighing in at 65 lbs, it is certainly lighter than most aftermarket bumpers, but it is still advisable to have an extra pair of hands around to facilitate installation. Expect to spend 2-3 hours getting this bumper on the front of your Jeep.
