This year’s big celebration of women was held on the 6th November. The I Am Equal International Women Forum since its inception has worked to change this narrative. They have done this through different events and projects that are helping women or just bringing women together.

Among the events that they host is the annual Big Celebration where they meet to talk about issues women are facing in many business and personal aspects. This year’s big celebration was held on the 6th November and was tagged “Meet the Vice President” under the theme “ Women Celebrating Women, Moving Together”

An interview with the founder and organizer of the event Mrs. Charity Chola Munthali revealed that as a forum these events are meant to change how society views the relationship women share. She also explained that the narrative can only change if the women present at these events took the knowledge back to their homes and industries
