The Tore Down Rhythm & Variations

Описание к видео The Tore Down Rhythm & Variations

In this blues rhythm guitar lesson we'll look at one of the most iconic blues rhythm figures ever - used by Eric Clapton and Freddie King in "I'm Tore Down."

But... it's not just for those tunes, you can use this darn neary anywhere you're playing a shuffle blues or a slow blues. In fact, if you watch Albert King play Stormy Monday, he uses this riff every once in a while even though it's a nice slow blues - cool!

Also, if you know where the notes come from, you can invert them to get Buddy Guy's "Damn Right I Got The Blues" riff and it's almost "Walk In My Shadows" as well.

In other words, a bunch of tunes come from this little note grouping, so learn the group of notes and how they work and you'll never be at a loss for a blues riff when you need one or hear one.
