Wondering how to remove a nearly 60-year-old, 74-foot hand-painted mural from the front of a building?

Each one of the 464 28-inch-by-14-inch tiles was painstakingly removed by Brian Worley Art and Restoration from the front of the former Port of Long Beach headquarters at 925 Harbor Plaza, and the process took several weeks to complete.

The mural was carefully stored and preservation group Long Beach Heritage is currently researching locations for it to reside permanently.
