The Second Winds Symphonic Band is a seasonal community band with members "hand selected" from several community bands in the greater Tampa Bay (Florida) area. This year, presented by the Second Time Arounders Marching Band of St. Petersburg.

Director Bill Findeison has led this band for fifteen years. Bill, who recently retired as director of the Second Time Arounders Marching Band, founded that band in 1983 and remained as it's executive director and conductor for forty years. Bill was active in music education in Pinellas County, Florida. Following his teaching career, Mr. Findeison went in to the music business and developed a string of school music stores and school music catalogue, National Music Supply that became one of the largest school music dealers in the country.

The Second Winds was founded for Bill's love of community music and for this community's dedicated and talented musicians, enabling them another outlet for performance and comradery.
