Jeroen has been involved with Blender since 2008. First as a volunteer contributor, later full time where he works in many areas and projects, but mostly everything from texturing, rendering & compositing. His mission is to make Blender as interactive as possible.

ABOUT THE SESSION:
In content creation performance is key. This masterclass will go over several techniques and must known topics to move any project to run faster. Here at Blender performance matters a lot as you don't want to limit artist in their work. There are also a lot of examples where improving performance lead to total new workflows. Although this masterclass is about GPU development, although the content can be applied on any regular development project where performance matters.

It gives answer to why sometimes you want to improve the performance of your application, but whatever you do it doesn't work. It will also gives references to tooling that can help you make code that run faster.

Most examples are guided with code examples, that can be understood to anyone with programming skills.
