The Mackerel are definitely back on the south coast and with that the sea feels alive again! It's a completely different scene from the horrid winter conditions we had this year. This session has everything, Pollack, Bream, Mackerel and even my PB bass!

It's worth noting that I set out on this session to stock the freezer and wouldn't usually look to take this many fish from the sea in one go. I will only take this many mackerel maybe once or twice a year for the table and bait for the season.
