I Noticed Something Interesting...Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree Story Trailer Lore Analysis

FromSoft just decides to blast my sleep schedule on a random Tuesday with an absolutely amazing trailer for Shadow of the Erdtree DLC that had me up all night. From Marika and the birth of the Erdtree, to Miquellas followers in the land of shadow, to seeing St. Trina in her glorious purple glory there is seriously a lot to dig into. And how does Messmer the Impaler somehow get cooler every time we see him????

It's cool Miyazaki, we know sleep is overrated anyway.

In this video I dig into some interesting observations, both my own and some others I stumbled across, and throw stuff at a wall hoping something sticks.

At the time of publishing, I seem to be the only one talking about Marika’s(?) uncharacteristically long braid??? Is it just that well-hidden or am I having a hallucination?

We also consider what might be a black knife assassin and their motivations for their conspiracy against Godwin, the darkness at the heart of the Erdtree’s birth and whether Miquella is indeed a villain or saint.
