Silverchair - The beginning (1994), "Nomad pick me, demo competition"

On June 16, 1994; Innocent Criminals were the winners, with their demo song called "Tomorrow". This competition was carried by a TV station (SBS) and radio (Triple J) with its contest called "Nomad Pick Me, demo competition", as a part of the show with the same name, "Nomad".

The prize of the contest as they were the winners, consisted in a demo record in studio, this time with professional sound and the filming of a videoclip. Of course, they re-recorded the now iconic "Tomorrow" (previously home recorded as demo in 1993) and that was the beginning of the Chair musical path as professionals musicians, at a very young age, around just 15 years old.

Since then, they changed their former name Innocent Criminals to Silverchair. 🦙
