EP233 - Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV - A dying machine? Answers from Japan🎌

Here is the official response from MMC (Mitsubishi Motors Corporation) in regards to the Outlander PHEV battery/software problem.
They have sent through a short Q&A with 6 questions and some answers. I discuss all questions here in detail and share my thoughts.
Verdict: MMC confirms the software has been programmed like this on purpose and runs optimal, showing the true SoH of the battery as close as possible. Only a DBCAM can determine the real SoH. There is no need for any fix, update or changes with the software or setup.

Is this the end of the PHEV? #PHEVgate
