The town of Ronda is located in Andalusia Spain and is an amazing hilltop city which spans both sides of the El Tajo gorge. It's 120 meters to the river below and the span between the cities is crossed by using this amazing bridge. The construction of the newest bridge (the one that stands today) was started in 1759 and took 34 years to build. It's called El Puente Nuevo (The New Bridge). The interior of the bridge once was used as a prison. During the 1936-1939 civil war both sides allegedly used the prison as a torture chamber for captured opponents, killing some by throwing them from the windows to the rocks at the bottom of the El Tajo gorge.

La ciudad de Ronda se encuentra en Andalucía, España, y es una increíble ciudad en la cima de una colina que se extiende a ambos lados del desfiladero de El Tajo. Son 120 metros hasta el río que se encuentra debajo y se cruza el tramo entre las ciudades utilizando este increíble puente. La construcción del puente más nuevo (el que se encuentra hoy) se inició en 1759 y tardó 34 años en construirse. Se llama El Puente Nuevo. El interior del puente una vez fue utilizado como prisión. Durante la guerra civil de 1936-1939, ambas partes supuestamente utilizaron la prisión como una cámara de tortura para los opositores capturados, matando a algunos arrojándolos desde las ventanas hacia las rocas en el fondo de la garganta de El Tajo.
