Since My Cooper Flagg Scouting Report dropped, a lot has happened in Flagg’s prolific high school basketball career.

Cooper Flagg was named:

2024 McDonald’s All American
2024 Gatorade National Player Of The Year
2024 Naismith Prep Player Of The Year
2024 ESPN Mr. Basketball USA

As of today, Cooper Flagg is sitting at the top of nearly every 2025 NBA Mock Draft and has been heralded as one of the most high profile high school basketball recruits of all time. Given the media’s narrative around Cooper Flagg’s talent, they are setting him to be considered as one of the greatest basketball players ever.

These expectations are extremely unfair to Cooper and could have a detrimental effect on mental health.

Given the amount of social media hype around his basketball future, if Cooper Flagg isn’t an all time great, the amount of vitriol that will come his way could rival that of LeBron James.
