Fixing Your Branch Line: Waterbury Branch

Since I covered my home railroad for the first episode of this series, I might as well cover the LIRR's sister railroad just over the Long Island Sound: Metro North. After reviewing multiple branch lines, I ultimately decided to choose the Waterbury branch due to its unique history, rolling stock assignments, and having the most opportunities for improvement. This branch is also one of the few examples of where it's actively being improved in recent months due to newly acquired funding, so it will be interesting to see this branch grow over the next few years.
