Babita burns the food while cooking. There's no water to cool it down. Jay is thirsty and jug on the table is empty. Balu is bathing in the bathroom when all of a sudden water supply is stopped. Smita is busy waiting for her facial to dry up when she realizes its burning her face and there's no water to clean it up. The family is in trouble. They find way to their neighbour Daya's house to steal water from his garden tap.

'Gutur Gu' is the silent series, which follows the life of Balu. Balu lives with his family, which includes his wife Smita, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kumar.
