Procreate is THE app of choice if you want to be doing iPad lettering. But it’s also £10...

While I think this is TOTALLY worth the money (honestly I would spend £100 on Procreate it’s that worth it), for beginners this price point is a bit off-putting. So, I set out to review some of the most popular free iPad drawing apps to see if any of them could be a suitable replacement for Procreate.
