These actions follow the heartbreaking self-immolation of Ahmad Baledi (احمد بالدی), a young man protesting the destruction of his family's livelihood and the demolition of homes belonging to dozens of impoverished families.

In direct response to these crimes, Iran’s rebellious youth struck at the symbols of the regime’s corruption and oppression. Their targets included regime buildings, institutions notorious for plundering public wealth, and bases belonging to the IRGC and its Basij militia—the main forces used to suppress the Iranian people.
