The design of the Fraumünster cloister can be described as Paul Bodmer's main work. He created the frescoes in stages from 1924 to 1941. They show various depictions of legends surrounding the Fraumünster and the city of Zurich: the legend of the founding of the Fraumünster, the story of Felix, Regula and Exuperantius, the legend of Charlemagne and the snake, the founding of the collegiate school by Charlemagne and the transfer of the relics of Felix and Regula to the Fraumünster.
