Tikilen EX3 42T | richard rngs rippling slice | Octopath COTC

tikilen is not very complicated compared to the other arena champs, but there are a couple things to keep in mind:
the bottom left ad's aura is to cast a regen that heals about 240k to both ads and 300k to tikilen. this will slow down your clear if you let him cast it. the 2 ways of stopping him from doing it are breaking (hard to achieve) or keeping tikilen's shields below...6?, because that'll interrupt his action and regen her shields. that's why tikilen remains unbroken for most of the opening phase of the fight

top right ad's aura is to buff p/e atk of all enemies. this actually isn't terribly threatening, my units are still able to eat the 2x wind aoe without buffs, but her 1x aoe sword on a crit comes close, which is why i have ex prim faster than tikilen and able to cast her pdef/edef buff. this comes into play once. if you study tikilen's action pattern, you can know when the 1x aoe sword is coming.

this doesn't really matter if you're just looking for a clear as opposed to a fast clear, but tikilen's crit phase will add a lot of time to your clear if you let her pop it when she has high shields. my solution was to damage her to just above 40% (thats when she does it) and have 3 shields, then use elrica's strong 2 hit to knock her below 40% and at 1 shield. when she enters crit phase, she'll have 1 shield, which elrica's 10 hit can more or less take care of probably.

scarecrow a4 on rondo and hagen helps me a lot in boosting the damage to the ads, but linde also works too. without these, your clear will be slower but mostly look the same

hope this video can encourage people to try to go for faster clears than just turtling - it is possible for even f2poors like me!
