To download it you need to have some kind of torrenting software like BitTorrent or uTorrent. You can get them for free.

This Torrent is virus free. I have been playing that GMod version since 2013 I believe. It has no addons but you can download them from Garrysmods.org.
The multiplayer is working, however you won't encounter any server on that particular version, but if you download it and everything would be working fine, please let me know in the comments. I'll try to set up a server and we will play together. I always wanted to play GMod 11 on multiplayer but I never did.

HOW TO:
To play it just install it with EXE file. Then go into that folder and right click hl2.exe and create shortcut. Go into shortcuts properties (by right clicking it and then "Properties") and in the "Target" field append this: -game garrysmod -appid 4000, after the "...\hl2.exe". If you want to run that game with Steam and you have GMod bought just add -steam. If you don't have GMod bought then close the steam entirely before launching the game.
And that's it. You can play Garry's Mod 11 now :)

FAQ:
I got "Unable to shade polygon normal"
That's... normal XD it means you have a pirate version of GMod.
If you have it bought on steam you won't get that error.

How to play multiplayer?
Just go into Play Multiplayer tab but most, if not all, servers are different version and you wouldn't be able to join.

Is it legal?
Well... it depends. Seeding that torrent is kinda illegal, playing it is legal but only if you have GMod bought on steam.

Is it better than GMod 13?
I would say no, GMod 13 is an updated version, multiplayer is working fine, there are thousands of addons so no, GMod 11 is not better, it's just different.
