As we geared up for the 2024 Rich Stallcup Bird-A-Thon we gathered for a webinar about the 2024 mascot, the Red-breasted Nuthatch. We were thrilled to have Cameron Ghalambor, PhD, join us to share natural history, fun facts, and insights about the species.

Cameron is an evolutionary ecologist and the lead author of the Birds of the World Red-breasted Nuthatch profile. If you are already nuts about nuthatches or new to them, we hope you flock up with us to share in the bird joy.
