Although I have relished all my footplating journeys, nothing can match the thrill of riding in the loco that hauls IR's fastest train with speeds touching 150 kmph! Just two days before, Pushkar and I had boarded the Rajdhani Express at Bombay Central. One classic journey led to the next and here we were at New Delhi, about to experience our first high-speed footplate. Five hours of sheer ecstasy were over just like that, but the memories and these video captures live on.
