• Sour Cream
• Buttermilk
• Sugar
• Eggs
• Vegetable Oil
• Butter

•baking tjme will vary based on number of Jiffy cornbread boxes used (i.e., if you cut recipein half & only use 1 box of Jiffy, bake time will be 15-17 minutes or so instead of the 25-30 minutes for 2 boxes)

🌽🍞Cornbread Recipe (can be doubled)🌽🍞
—1 box 8.5 oz Jiffy Vegetarian Mix (I prefer Vegetarian but any Jiffy Mix can be used)
—1 egg (room temp & slightly beaten)
—1/4 cup oil
—1/3 cup whole fat buttermilk (room temp)
—1/2 cup sour cream (room temp)
—1T granulated sugar (optional)

Fork through Jiffy Mix after placing in a bowl to get “rocks” out. Place 2T butter in baking dish & place in oven at 400. Add sugar, oil, sour cream, and buttermilk to Jiff mix. Add slighly bearen egg & mix all together. Remove baking dish from oven (butter should be melted & sizzling); swirl butter around bottom and sides of baking dish to “coat” the dish thej pour remaining butter into Jiffy batter. Fold well. Pour batter into buttered baking dish and bake at 400 until done (brown around edges & middle is firm—about 15-17 minutes)
