Ozone Roadster 3 Speed Test

Описание к видео Ozone Roadster 3 Speed Test

I used a GPS overlay on this video to display the speed and elevation as I flew the 26m Roadster 3 up wind and down wind. I started with trims set to the inner most white lines and after a couple of passes, mover them to the neutral or red lines. Finally moving the trims out to the last white line on the trim range.
Moving from the inner most white line to the neutral setting really smoothed out the bumpy air. I used the Garmin Virb Ultra 30 action camera along with Garmin's overlay software for the head cam, and the Sony X3000 on a tripod for the field shots.
Down side to using the head cam was that every time I turned my head left or right, it caused a false reading in the camera's GPS.
A tablet or phone would have given a more stable reading, but this was good enough to get an idea how fast this wing is. Also keep in mind that air density plays into the speed too. This was a 65 degree F day and relatively low humidity.
I have other wings that I would like to compare as well, but with winter setting in, I may have to wait until spring to match temperatures.
