This is one hell of an adventure, that isn't for the the faint hearted. You need to have a high level of fitness and skill to attempt this journey.

Nitmiluk Gorge or Katherine Gorge, is made up of 13 mini gorges - seperated by rocky outcrops inbetween them.

You need to have the fitness level to drag and pull your kayak and all your equipment up and over these rock outcrops.

This is not an easy thing to do, you need to be fit, have the right equipment and be-careful not to injure yourself.

If you want to attempt this adventure yourself, book online through Nitmiluk Tours - they will provide the transport and kayaks. You need to bring the rest!
