How to Draw GHOST RIDER (Comic Version) | Narrated Easy Step-by-Step Drawing Tutorial

Описание к видео How to Draw GHOST RIDER (Comic Version) | Narrated Easy Step-by-Step Drawing Tutorial

Grab your drawing tools -- let's draw the GHOST RIDER!

For this drawing I took inspiration from the first teaser trailer for Agents of SHIELD season 4 -- the one with the flaming skull head -- that was released in SDCC 2016. (Check it out here:    • Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Seaso...  )

More specifically I wanted to show you how to draw the flaming skull head from Ghost Rider issue 15, which was released in 1990 around the same time I started reading comic books. I remember it distinctly because it was around the time that comic books were doing a lot of gimmicky covers to make people buy them. This issue's cover in particular had glow in the dark flames. Super cool to look at, especially in the dark. Check it out: http://amzn.to/2d3qsUM (affiliate).

There's even a gold foil version of that cover. So shiny! http://amzn.to/2dHjiqq (affiliate)

Anyway, what I like about this drawing is the fact that it could be any of the three Ghost Riders -- Johnny Blaze, Danny Ketch, or Robbie Reyes. (Funny, their first names all end with that "-ee" sound.) And it can be from the comics, movies, or TV. Heck it's nice enough that even a biker could get it tattooed on his back. Haha!

Happy drawing,
Ramny

From WIKIPEDIA:
"The first supernatural Ghost Rider is stunt motorcyclist Johnny Blaze, who, in order to save the life of his father, agreed to give his soul to "Satan". At night and when around evil, Blaze finds his flesh consumed by hellfire, causing his head to become a flaming skull. Blaze starred in the series from 1972–1983. The subsequent Ghost Rider series (1990–98) featured Danny Ketch as a new Ghost Rider. After his sister was injured by ninja gangsters, Ketch came in contact with a motorcycle that had somehow been mystically enchanted to contain the essence of a Spirit of Vengeance. Blaze reappeared in this 1990s series as a supporting character, and it was later revealed that Danny and his sister were Johnny Blaze's long lost siblings. In 2000s comics, Blaze again became the Ghost Rider, succeeding Ketch. In 2013, Robbie Reyes became Ghost Rider as part of the Marvel NOW! initiative."

● TIPS FOR MAKING AWESOME DRAWING SUGGESTIONS ●
Not all suggestions are the same. Some are great, but some are not so good. Here's how I sort them out:

1. Is it current? (From a TV show or game that's currently popular, from a movie that's coming up or just released in the last few months, or from a current run in the comic books, etc.)
2. Is it a popular, mainstream character? (People who don't usually watch the show/movie, or read the comics, still know the character.)
3. Is there enough interest from my viewers? (I keep a note of all suggestions made in the comments section.)
4. Is it a popular enough YouTube search? (I use a keyword tool to see how often people search for tutorials on characters, before I draw.)
5. Is it easy to do a tutorial on? (Some things are very difficult or time-consuming to do tutorials on.)

Since I get A TON of requests everyday, I ask all of you to please be patient with me as I can only do several tutorials per week. Thanks!
