In this video I'm Spearfishing at my spot in the Solent once again, in the search for Bass. I was reluctant to dive here on this day as I was worried about the vis, but was convinced to stay anyway. The vis was bad, but it turned out to be one of my most productive dives in this area yet! The area was packed with tourists and the sun was beaming down, but I swam out to my reef, just off shore once again.
The visibility was around 2-3m and it was a few hours after high tide. Although the vis wasn't great, it was a Fishy dive, with a few Bass checking me out on my first dive. Within 2 dives I had secured a nice 45cm Bass.
I found a lost Scuba diving fin, and then caught a glimpse of a nice Bass, which flew in to check me out. It was fast moving, and weaving through the rocks but I managed to secure it. This Fish also turned out to be a PB Fish for this area, 50cm which I was very happy with!
