Changing the Battery on 2015 Volvo S60

Описание к видео Changing the Battery on 2015 Volvo S60

My 2015 Volvo S60 with OEM battery was getting the dreaded Low Battery Voltage warning that many of you will experience. Apparently there were some batteries that were made in this middle 2010 year range that weren't all that great at lasting more then 2-4 years, and mine was one of them. I show you in this video how to replace the battery. This is my first time doing it so you'll learn with me. I saw the Volvo instructions prior to doing this install but that's it. The instructions didn't show all the details, so I cover all the things you'll need to do. It's still an easy job, but it's a tight fit for those of you with big hands.

NOTE: About a month after this video, my start/stop was still intermittent and I had to do a re-learn procedure for the batteries so the car would basically start from scratch on testing the actual load capacity of the batteries. It's a really goofy process I posted below. Since then, I haven't had a single issue.

1 - Ignition ON (engine off)

2 - dipped front lights ON (turn light switch to far right)

3 - Rear fog lights press 6x (3 on/off cycles) (button to left of light switch)

4 - Hazzard lights press 3x

Battery icon blinks 3x
