CORRECTIONS to the Spoken Video:
My Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 has 8GB RAM (not 12GB).
Additional processor details are:
Chipset: Qualcomm SM8150 Snapdragon 855 (7 nm)
CPU: Octa-core (1x2.84 GHz Kryo 485 & 3x2.42 GHz Kryo 485 & 4x1.78 GHz Kryo 485)
GPU: Adreno 640


Excuse the lenght of this video - I feel all the points in it are important.
For those who don't want to spent the full 23-minutes or have trouble with spoken English, here is the short version in text (please do translate if necessary):



LAG CONTROL WILL REQUIRE MORE THAN JUST ADJUSTING THE GAME'S SETTINGS !!!



GAME'S SETTINGS — ADJUST
≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡

★GAME - General - Field of veiw, don't go to the widest views unless you limit scene distance settings.

GAME - Hud element - Animal sound visualizer, ON.
You will likely need it but it has processor spikes.

★GAME - Hud element - Aim assist, OFF.
Would be nice to use but turn OFF, for lag control & finding shot's first blood.


★VIDEO - General - Frame rate, 30fps (more on this later).
Through GAMEPLAY strategy you should be able to improve on the 30 FPS limit at some point.

★VIDEO - General - Anti-aliasing, turn OFF.
You will likely never be able to use it & for the most part it only effect vehicle views.

VIDEO - Advanced settings - Shadows.
Does not appear to be a lag issue but something to try for personal preference.

VIDEO - Advanced settings - Foliage (or Vegitation as I say in the video).
That is ground foliage like grasses only, not trees - not a lag issue but a quality of play. Low does work but it is up to personal preference, so experiment as you please.


★AUDIO - Volume - Ambience, Zero or OFF.
Game sounds great with it but it does cut into the progessor.


HUNTER SENSE - General - Bullet impact energy, OFF.
Generally I'm finding I don't have time to check it when sighting in on a animal. So I just rely on using the matching Tier weapon with an animal - this usually is the highest processor use time in the game.


GAME - Progress - Cloudsave (not a lag issue) just make should it is ON. You will not want to lose any of your hard earned progress.



GAMEPLAY FOR LAG CONTROL

★EXPLORING NEW SECTIONS OF THE MAP
This will 'paint-in' a clear view of about 120-meters around your location on to your version of the Map. Unfortunately for some reason this appears to use a great deal of processor.
By revisiting already explored parts of your Map you will reduce processor use. So explore as much of the Map as you plan to use (there is a reason the first 2 levels of the game are call Hiker & Explorer).
This is only 1 of 2 ways GAMEPLAY will reduce lag.


★COLLECT ALL VIEWED "ANIMAL NEED ZONES"
Do so by traveling (that means Walking, or intermittently stopping with fastest forms of travel). Animal Need Zones will "flash" from a maximum distance of ~90m (some smaller ones only from 40m) when activating "Hunter Sense" (but not when driving or running). When you find one or more, stand in it and look down, then touch the HAND symbol to collect it, which adds it to your Map & stops it from "flash" (using up processor).
[Those Animal Need Zones can be found on your Map by double tapping the Animal (herd, pack, family, flock) associated with it & all the other Need Zones you found for that Animal. You will also be able to find them on the ground too, but they will not be as conspicuous as "flashing" zones.]


AFTER USING THE 2 ABOVE GAMEPLAY STRATEGIES
Go back to Game's Settings - Video - General - Frame Rate, TRY 60 FPS.
When you can use 60 FPS investigate any other Game Setting you would like to increase and even give Anti-Aliasing a try.

RELATED - Your Character's Movements & Actions
This can be improved in the game by Activing Perks, thing you should go out of your way to accomplish. To find Perks, while playing Continue Story open up the Menu: go to Character - Perks. Look for those that are easist to achieve or that you would like to use to improve your game. Many can take a long time to get and/or specific equipment use like Grampa's Old Rifle for the Leaver Action Rifle (go for Lung shots on White-Tail, Mule Deer, Red Fox at no more than about 100m) or uses of Break Action Shotguns only (with 25m range - waterfowl do not have Lungs so go after Snowshoe Hare).
