We officially have new ownership in the US, and with that comes a new data policy. We’re talking biometrics (fingerprints), precise geo-location, and aggressive cross-platform tracking.

For us adults, it’s annoying. But for our kids? It’s another layer of privacy stripped away. Between this and Instagram’s location updates last year, the "digital playground" is getting harder to secure.

The update claims they will crack down on the under-13 policy, but is that enough?
