Reactive Strategies

Reactive strategies are used in ABA therapy as a reaction or 'consequence' after a certain behavior has occurred. The goal is to increase appropriate behaviors by maximizing reinforcement and reducing challenging behaviors by withholding or reducing reinforcement.
