While learning alot more about Canadian history I kept coming across individual mentioning the War of 1812. I can tell that this war was a very significant event in Canadian history and since America was a directly involved I felt downright embarrassed that I knew next to nothing about this event. I am very much looking forward to reacting to the War of 1812 and am curious about exactly why it occurred as well as the ramifications.
