Описание к видео Jimmy Hall and Wet Willie - Southern Rock Legends

Historical and current journey into the work of these Southern Rock legends from Alabama. Along with the Allman Brothers Band and The Marshall Tucker Band, Wet Willie led the charge in establishing Southern Rock out of Macon, GA as a major force in American music starting in the 1970s. The group has been able to chart several Billboard HOT 100 songs even reaching the top ten, with tunes like "Keep on Smiling" "Weekend," "Country Side of Life," and "Street Corner Serenade," amongst others. To the present day, they continue as a familiar presence on American Classic Rock format radio. For over 45 years, Wet Willie has been a staple on the Southeastern music festival touring circuit while Jimmy Hall continues to be one of Blues and Blues Rock's leading luminaries. Virtuoso of vocals, saxophone and harmonica, Jimmy Hall's musicianship is at the top of it's game and shows no sign of slowing down with age.
