Описание к видео Los Osos and Baywood Park, CA

Stunning Los Osos and Baywood Park on the Central Coast of California, where birds and butterflies spend their winters. The area was inhabited by the Chumash at least as early as 1200 and were encountered by the Spanish explorer Cabrillo in 1542. In 1769, Gaspar de Portola's expedition found large numbers of Grizzly Bears in the valley near modern Los Osos. "Osos" being the Spanish word for "Bears", the town was so named. The area is a nature-lover's Paradise with miles trails and the Pacific Ocean as your playground. Baywood Park is the home of the Baywood Navy, whose motto is "We don't sail in water deeper than we can stand in." See baywoodnavy.org
