Jemal shows MG Midget Ribcase gearbox rebuild Part 1 : Disassembly

Well. this one has been in the can (iPhone) for a couple of years, so it's about time I got several hours down to a watchable 20 minutes! This might be the most detailed look at rebuilding the Sprite Midget Morris Minor Ribcase Gearbox ever attempted... believe me editing the video takes MUCH longer than building the gearbox!

And this is only Part 1 (probably of 3). Please kindly understand that I have to hold the camera and point it at what I'm doing - or trying to with the other hand! I put the phone on a mount when possible, and I simply must use both hands. I was able to capture the best tricks and techniques and details of assembling the gears to the mainshaft and the slider hubs with all their tiny balls and springs. Then did the best I could to make it watchable!

But this is Part 1. I show how to take the gearbox apart and what to look for so you can put back together a good one.
