MCSO I-490 Tour Bus Rollover MVA 9:30am Briefing 11.07.24

Around 7:00 am this morning, MCSO deputies responded to the report of a bus on its side on I-490 westbound, west of Union Street, in the Town of Chili. All 28 occupants of the Flix Tour Bus, operated by Tribal Sun Bus Company out of Massachusetts, were transported to local hospitals for evaluation and treatment, to include the bus driver. One patient is reportedly in critical condition.

The bus was traveling from New York City to Niagara Falls, having left NYC around midnight.

The eastbound lanes of I-490 are reopened. Westbound lanes, between exits 3 and 4, remain closed to traffic. Please use alternate routes of travel.
