Cocktails By Hawk is one of three bartenders we took to The Valley Hive for an immersive experience with the bees, which inspired his Bee’s Knees Week contribution.
“After getting a sample of the fresh wildflower honey we collected at The Valley Hive, I was determined to make sure that flavor stood out in the cocktail, so I decided to go with a drink that wouldn’t require citrus, hence the Old Fashioned. I knew Barr Hill Gin’s barrel-aged Tom Cat Gin would be a perfect fit. I also managed to find two bitters in my collection that would compliment both the gin and the honey.”
