In this video, I discuss whether we should change the Bitcoin consensus rules in order to redistribute coins that haven't moved for a certain period of time.

I conclude that we should not. This is a form of theft-- and to complicate matters, it's almost always impossible to know if coins are truly lost-- or just dormant.

I also discuss how the quantity of a money is not important, since its price can adjust upwards or downwards to make the market cap of the money large enough to service any sized economy.

I also discuss a very famous Bitcoin burner address, and why we can be reasonably sure that its coins are truly lost.
