I'm learning with each new painting that it's better to just attack with color, accept the results as endless potential and mold it into the original vision otherwise, my perfectionist side gets the better of me.

Without fail, I can't think of one piece I have created that turned out identical to what I originally envisioned in my mind. The end results either went above and beyond, albeit a different direction, or fell short of what I wanted because I let my mind hold the reins a little too tight. A lesson I learned by watching my children paint, their souls flying to endless heights as they create without fear.
