the classic ones:
1) 0:17 PIAGGIO ORIGINAL: tailpipe too small for powefull engines, there is a heat jam that will seize the cylinder at a certain point
2) 0:55 POLINI RACING: embarassing low power, sadly still sold as RACING but this is scam, its simply not true. it has throttling walls inside and is just a silencer: • cut open POLINI RACING exhaust | vesp...
a mature expansion chamber :P
3) 1:25 SIP PERFORMANCE 2.0: expansion chamber. very cool two stroke sound and a lot of high end power! (i use my motorbike or car to ride fast, so not needed for a vespa in my opinion as a box also makes 120-140 gps)
the FMPsoundRANKING
1) 2:00 MEGADELLA SLX8 / 8 CONI: for me the cooles box sound :P noise even lower than the quite quiet polinibox
2) 2:32 W1R TORQUE 21mm: v1 of exhaust from w1r with good sound, poorly manufactured and very low power, sthg went wrong while development. new models for 2021 announced!
3) 3:13 POLINIBOX already a classic. good sound, close to original. high manifold, cheap, THE torque box which also revs. developed by a professional exhaust company: thats clearlly see & feelable
4) 3:51 SIP ROAD XL (old): nice sound, high manifold,no vibrations, but quite boring, as power is very low & outdated, sr3 swallows it completelly.
5) 4:27 BGM BBS OPTIMIZED: a) manifold twisted UP to solve right curve issue, b) bigger and longer tailpipe to solve heat jam issues (200cc mostly) c) changed drills in the wall. impressive power like an expansion. Not so noisy anymore, but still loud.
6) 5:04 SIP ROAD v1 &2: the classic and very first one from 2010, where the XL did indeed add sthg. outdated, power not up2date anymore. Get quite loud with km's as we know
7) 5:36 SIP ROAD v3: top improvement from sr2! sadly manifold too low and power.too similiar to polinibox, the add power on top comes quite late and is too little (slx8 adds way more!) for the loss in low rev. sound has a slight annoying tone. top speed issues with 244cc
TOO LOUD for (my) city:
8) 6:06 MEGADELLA COMPACT L: never ending kinky reving, a bit weak in low rev
cool sound! but too loud.
9) 6:48 BGM BIG BOX SPORT BBS: too loud, manifols too low = right curve problem, heat jam issue, very light for the size (thin metal, cracking endangered) very good power like an expansion.
10) 7:22 SIP ROAD XL VIPER: optic wowh! power is ok, clearlly less than bbs (but designed for HIGH timing 190) but too low and noisy:
REALLY BAD NOISE did make these 2:
11) 7:57 RR BOX: cheap available, only siproad2 body optic but way! more power, sadly: very noisy. an ugly annoying tone.
12) 8:39 PIPEDESIGN SBOX3+ 244: didnt fit well, power low (less than polinibox for 50% of the cash) & unacceptable noisy, not bearable. even more funny as its called "SILENTbox"
MISSING sound recordings (forgot to take the video)
-) FM box: very nice sound, similiar to slx8 BUT power boring. nothing in low rev, then wide reving, overall not useable on street
-) LTH box: THE torque box its said.. yes there is torque, but power only till 7000 (!), then it closes down and gets chewy. polinibox performs better.

FMPoweRANKING:
considering noise and right curve ground tolerance, the winners are:
1) POLINIBOX: the classic torque box, with wide band, ensures powerfull cruising and good topspeed
2) MEGADELLA SLX8: similiar but a clear fun plus of power where the pb gets chewy, the slx8 continues and adds impressive BIGbox power even tough! Its just a normal box (outside) :P
3) SIP ROAD 3: good package for a reasonable price. i dont like the sound and the low manifold tough. adds too little ,too late for me on top.
4) MODIFIED BBS: a beast. like an expansion. but even tough quieter, still too loud for my ears.
