Slider Fishing - How to set up a Sliding Float. Do you ever fish in waters deeper than your rod is long? Would you like to fish it with a Waggler Float, but can't cast the float out properly because the rig is too long? The answer is to use a Sliding Float rig, also known as a Slider Float.

This float travels freely up and down the line until it hits a Stop Knot which is set at the required depth. In this video, that depth was 14 feet. But when casting, I was only casting a rig which was at around 3 to 4 feet deep. How is that? Watch the video and add this great method to your armoury.
