What's the job of an agency account manager and how you can stand out

I think client-agency relationship evaluation meetings conducted face to face are great opportunities for agency leaders. But are there downsides?

Some potential benefits for agency leaders:
1. Identify areas of service the client perceives as least/most valuable
2. Discover the client's future business plans to see how to best support
3. Share ideas, resources, useful contacts etc
4. Understand the client's world more to strengthen the personal and professional relationship
5. Agree on preferred ways to enhance ongoing communication

Potential downsides:
1. Will the client feel comfortable enough to share their honest feedback?
2. Situations change frequently and quickly, how much time should you invest in this exercise and how reliable are the results?
3. Should they be carried out by the agency or an independent third party?
