Lok Sabha live: Centre set to table 'One Nation One Election' bill

The "One Nation, One Election" bill will be introduced in the Lok Sabha today. The Constitution (One Hundred and Twenty-Ninth Amendment) Bill, 2024, aims to hold simultaneous elections for Lok Sabha and state assemblies. Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal will introduce the bill, which will likely be referred to a joint committee for further consultations.
