Slacking Off - Surviving Takes

This song was recorded on tape, and it was done at the end of my only tape I had spare, so I was forced to tape over many takes and attempts at this song.. this is all that was still on the tape.

...When I was making the song, I wanted it to be more then one track, however I also wanted it to all be done on tape. Originally the Drum Loop was also done on tape, however the tape speed is invariable and unstable, so it would never stay matched. This part of the song here would end up being used in certain parts, however it had to be cut up to fit.

1:51 - Partial Take 1
...This could've been part of the first take, however even that was likely overwritten by this one.

3:30 - Partial Take 2
... Another messed up take. Cut after around 30ish seconds for the final take

4:42 - Final Take
... This is the final used take without the fadeout or masking of Track 2

I really like this song, and recording on tape is always fun
