Hey my Nerds! 🤓

In the last video we built a storefront collection filter from scratch. Now we focus on another important part of a theme: the variant picker on a product page. We will start from the really basics and work our way up to a cool swatch variant picker with a working variant change javascript functionality.

First im going to explain the theory behind variant selection in a Shopify theme.
Then we are going to build a basic variant picker with Liquid.
After that we give the variant picker its functionality by writing a the javascript for the variant change functionality.
In the end we are putting some more styling, implement swatch and color buttons and other cool stuff.
