A Norwegian girl, Sima, moves from the countryside to Oslo to start her life as a freshman at university. After entering school, she has a strong friendship with her very beautiful classmate Anja, but after a library epileptic incident, she begins to discover that she has superpowers that her parents have always feared. As the semester continues, Sima's affection for Anya grows stronger, but as more and more mysterious events occur, Sima begins to discover that her powers are related to a family secret and must be forced to confront the tragic secrets of her past, as well as the consequences of that horrific superpower.
